How do you calculate Maximum Heart Rate?

Better Workouts uses a formula referenced in an article titled Age-predicted maximal heart rate in health subjects: The HUNT Fitness Study (Nes et al., 2012).

MAX_HR = 211 - 0.64 x AGE

The formula is more precise than previously used formulas like 220 - AGE.
